Profile
Collett is Bristol Barrow Road's darkest locomotive.
Built in 1934 at Swindon Works, and living quite a negative life, he worked on the Somerset and Dorset Railway for many years, running the local and heavier goods trains from Templecombe to a few stations further up the line.
However, in 1960, the 3 4F locomotives, who were doing mixed jobs all over the line, were given trials on these duties, and unfortunately, they passed them with flying colours. Shortly afterwards, the Templecombe foreman delivered the bad news to Collett: he had been taken off the goods duties and transferred to Bristol Barrow Road.
Collett worked on local goods trains at Bristol for many years, determined to do it alone, wanting to prove that he was not incapable. However, when the 4Fs arrived in Bristol whilst on the run, Collett began to plot to get rid of them once and for all...
When his first attempt failed, Collett was seriously damaged after Fowler furiously pushed him into a siding, causing him to roll down an embankment and into a public street. However, once he was recovered, everyone was horrified to see that he had vanished into thin air, with a sinister message written on the shed wall...
